is an all volunteer, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization,
dedicated to providing emergency and public service communications to our community.

Incorporated in the State of Nevada, NRS 82 on 31 January 2002.

Received ARRL Charter Affiliation 25 July 2005


Our General Membership & Training meetings are scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month.
.Meetings are held in the NEW NYE COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES BLDG. 1510 SIRI LN, THIS IS BEHIND THE NYE COUNTY OFFICE COMPLEX, Turn East on Basin Then Turn Left on KITTYHAWK then Right on SIRI LN, THEN LEFT THRU GATE INTO COMPOUND. The first building is the new "EOC".
Our next meeting will be at 19:00 Hrs. (7:00 PM) 14 May 2008.




ARES holds a "Controled Net" for the verification of equipment operation and the dissemination of information to all.
The "ARES Net" is on 145.620 Mhz. (-) pl of 100.0 "W7NYE" at 19:30 Hrs. (7:30 PM) local time, ALL Wednesday evenings Except Meeting Nights.
Everyone is Welcome to participate.


There is a "PACKET" Station on 145.050 It is "WA1OOH-7.
The mail box address is "WA1OOH-1 to leave a message for Dan LePage.


SNCARES, Inc. has the following repeaters in the area of Pahrump, NV:

145.130 MHz. (-) pl 100.0, on Kellog Rd in South Pahrump Secondary
145.620 MHz. (-) pl 100.0, on Mt. Schader, North of Pahrump Primary.
447.500 MHz. (-) pl 123.0 close to Sheriff's Office in Central Pahrump Secondary
447.700 MHz. (-) pl 123.0 at Hospital in Central Pahrump Secondary

We use the following simplex frequencies as back-up for the repeaters if they go down.
If the 2m repeaters are out of service use simplex 146.580 for contacts.
If the 70cm repeaters are out of service use simplex 445.550 for contacts.


We support The weekly A.R.E.S.® Skywarn Net. Wednesday evenings at 19:00 Hrs. (7:00 PM)
on the Internet "Echo-link" "NV-Gate" for a weather net & other ARES® information
and also the new weekly Nevada ARES Net on Thursday also at 19:00 Hrs on the IRLP NV-Gate
